It was clean and suiably located for where I wanted to be.
It was not clear on the de vere web site that this was a conference venue with accomadation rented out. That should have been made clear.
My self and my partner found the surroundings beautifull, it was just like being on Holiday, very rural and romantic. the rooms were clean and very well laid out for the size, the shower was excellent.
if there was one comment we both had and that would be that the rooms require a small fridge for chilling the drinks.
quite, fair sized room, comfy bed.
shower grouting needed a good bleaching.
Good value for money, modern and well equipped
Whilst room was generally clean, when we checked in there was 1/2 bottle of wine left in the corner and a grape on the floor which I felt was below expected standard.
Very nice hotel, slightly smaller room than what I was expecting but then it's largely used a conference centre.
the buffet meal was excellent value the rooms were comfotable in nice surrouidings
the attitude of the reception staff when booking out was unhelpful and uninformative
Very friendly staff, excellent location for Ascot Racecourse
My room was comfortable and well appointed, the staff were friendly.
Car park a bit cramped, room was a bit too warm, could not turn down radiator.
The location, the breakfast.
Everything except the location & the breakfast. The first room we had was too small for a double. They then put us in a bigger room which was dull, not very clean, the window was stuck half open, toiletries (shampoo, toilet paper) were not replaced. The evening buffet in the restaurant was poor. An experience we will not renew.
location was excellant for our purpose
our shower in room Anderson 102 was poor
I'm afraid to say there is nothing that stands out.
The bar staff especially the manager is very poor. Lets not even mention the cost of a drink!
Good sized, very clean room and with a countryside atmosphere although very near to town.
Rooms were clean, well furnished and provided good value for money.
Food was acceptable and good value for the money however, if you are looking for hotel quality food, then this style of catering is not for you!
The room was very modern and of ok size. Very comfortable bed. Staff very friendly.
Agree with other comments that it is a bit like a Uni campus. No toilet roll in room but was soon brought once complaint had been made.
it's not a typical De Vere. It's a civil service campus with paper thin walls and thinner mattresses.Only for those on a budget with a capacity for sleep deprivation
